Google’s Nexus One

Description:
Basically the Nexus one is a smartphone from Google that uses the open source mobile operating system called Android. The phone has features that would give you the ability to transcribe voice to text, noise canceling dual microphones, and GPS guided turn-by-turn voice directions to drivers. Which makes Google’s Nexus One something to look forward to.

Features:
Size and Weight
First the size and weight, The phone has a height of 119 mm, width of 59.8 mm, Depth of 11.5 mm and it weighs for about 130 grams w/ battery and 100 grams w/o. With my experience in using this phone i believe its slightly lighter than the apple’s iPhone 3GS.

Display
Okay lets talk about the display, nexus one’s screen display is AMAZING! For me, its brighter and better when compared to other phones. It has a 3.7-inch widescreen WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixels and a 1 ms typical response rate.

Camera
A phone that has a camera is good cause you can take pictures anytime anywhere, with the phone’s 5 megapixel camera is good but its not that amazing in my opinion its kinda same with other smartphone cams, but compared to iPhone’s 3 megapixel cam i prefer the nexus one.

Battery Life
Battery Nexus One has a talk time of up to 10 hrs on 2G and 7 hrs on 3G compared to iPhone, iPhone can last longer when used on 2G cause the iPhone has about 12 hrs of talk time, but when it comes to 3G calling nexus one will last 2 hrs longer than iPhone. Standby time is 290 hours in 2G and 250 hrs on 3G.

Capacity
512 MB flash, 512 MB RAM and has 4GB Micro SD Card (Expandable to 32GB).

Cellular and Wireless Capability
It has UMTS Band 1/4/8 (2100/AWS/900), HSDPA 7.2Mbps, HSUPA 2Mbps, GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz), it also has Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and A2DP stereo Bluetooth.

Overall
Okay for me Google’s Nexus One is a very good phone and i recommend it very much, cause when i tried it it really felt different and its really FAST. If your looking for Android phones Google’s Nexus One for me would be the best choice.
